I think there's a reason she is secretive. If she trusts you and you trust her, what is the problem? Do you have any reason to not trust her? I don't understand why she is so secretive unless she has something she wants to hide. If there is a reason you don't trust her and there is a reason she is secretive, it may be best to accept the break up.

If there is a way to get beyond all of this (and it sounds like there is) you need to work an angle whereby she comes back to you. You can accomplish this by acknowledging that the break-up was a great idea and possibly ignoring her for a little while. Sounds harsh, but if she wants you back, she'll come, trust me.
